Pixel loading for the Taurus Series starts at just 650,000 which is often more than enough for a roadside digital display. We can upgrade to 1,300,000 or 2,300,000 for higher resolutions or multiple displays at a shared location with just one Taurus.

Taurus is a reliable and value-priced component of most any indoor or outdoor display that is sharing your message.

1-bit is black and white, but not grey. 2-bits adds in black-grey and white-grey. 4-bits doubles that to 16 shades of grey and 8-bits brings us to 256 shades and 16,700,000 colours.

The Taurus Series defaults to 8-bits which is generally consistent with the image and video source files that provide content for commercial digital signage.

The Taurus Series relies on NovaStar Armor receiver cards plus NovaLCT Configuration Tools and ViPlex video control software.

Armor receiver cards include the A5S Plus, A8S-N and A10S Pro which provide for reliable performance and exceptional image quality, pixel-level brightness and chroma calibration.

The Taurus Series is compact enough to fit inside some outdoor display cabinets, where it often does so with XYZ dimensions of 274 × 139 × 40 millimeters.

The Taurus enclosue is also perfectly happy sitting on your desk or tucked away in a dark closet. We also offer a card version that can squeeze into slimmer cabinets.

NovaStar offers a 3-year warranty on all products purchased from an Authorized NovaStar Distributor and certified for use in Canada, the United States, or other corresponding markets.

The factory warranty and online technical support does not cover any NovaStar products purchased through domestic online discount warehouses or overseas bulk resellers.
