1-bit is black and white, but not grey. 2-bits adds in black-grey and white-grey. 4-bits doubles that to 16 shades of grey and 8-bits brings us to 256 shades and 16,700,000 colours.

The MX Series starts at 8-bits, and offers 10-bits and 12-bits for 1,024 and 4,096 shades of grey for super smooth gradations and way more colors than your eyes can see.

The MX Series relies on NovaStar COEX and Armor receiver cards plus NovaStar's new generation Vision Management Platform control software.

COEX and Armor receiver cards include the CA50e and the A8S-N or A10S Pro which provide for stepless output scaling, low latency, 3D, pixel-level brightness and chroma calibration.

The MX Series is offered in an industry-standard 2U rack enclosure with XYZ dimensions of 483 × 467 × 94 millimeters while weighing in at less than 8.0 kilograms.

The KU20 comes in at just 253 × 290 × 51 millimeters and just 2.0 kilgrams. Plus you can always fill out a single 1U rack with a second KU20 for cascading or redundancy.

NovaStar offers a 3-year warranty on all products purchased from an Authorized NovaStar Distributor and certified for use in Canada, the United States, or other corresponding markets.
