GlassVu Pixel Film
See. And Be Seen.
Pixels
Pixel-to-pixel spacing ranges from 5.000 millimeters down to 10.000 millimeters to create transparent display resolutions with up to 40,000 LED lamps in a single square meter.
Each millimeter of spacing supports one meter of viewing distance which means that the Pixel Film will look great from as little as 5 steps away. Or from across the street.
Lamps
Pixel Film standard size panels display up to 6000 cd/m2 of fully-adjustable brightness and 160° of indirect viewing achieved with 2121 smd integrated light drive lamps.
Static drive mode eliminates distracting refresh flicker on camera recordings while 16-bit grayscale creates 65,535 silky smooth shades of gray that are easy on the eye.
Cards
GlassVu Pixel Film relies on small format NovaStar B6S receiver cards plus NovaLCT configuration software and ViPlex Express content management.
Viplex controls Taurus multimedia players in both synchronous and asynchronous modes, with the option to manage schedules using NovaStar's VNNOX cloud.
Dimensions
The Pixel Film makes every other LED display look bulky by comparison. The Film module has XYZ dimensions starting at 1000 × 400 × 2.5 millimeters with standard lengths to 1500 millimeters and weighs in at just over a kilogram.
The modules may be joined to create panels up to 3000 millimeters or trimmed to fit curves and corners.
Options
The Pixel Film is pretty much ready to go as a single module and power box combination. Extras include the NovaStar receiver card and a choice of controllers.
The standard module lengths can be trimmed to custom sizes and the power bars are available in optional lengths. We offer a selection of frames and lightweight flight cases.
Quotes
We love to provide quotes for projects, so don't hesitate to ask. We can generally have a basic quote ready for your review in a few hours.
Our calculations start with the available space for your display, how you'd like to install it and how close your audience is likely to be. The rest is mostly just details.
Schematics
We will provide our Engineers with a detailed plan of what it is you need and want and then request mechanical and electrical drawings based on your choice of panels, and set in the configuration you have set out for your installation.
Those drawings will be generated in industry-standard Adobe PDF and Autodesk DWG formats.
Installation
Install Pixel Film directly to glass using polyorganic silicon or static cling film for repeat installations across multiple locations. Just peel and stick to create a fantastic show in minutes. Maybe an hour for your first time.
Custom-built large displays and our extended length power bars simplify installation.
Performance
Every redn × greenn × bluen lamp creates more color combinations than our eyes can see, and 16-bit grayscale will make your graphic artist giddy with delight.
Display life is projected to be 100,000 hours or about 11 years of full-time use. Which means we look forward to hearing from you again in 2035.
